Dr Amélie Gourdon-Kanhukamwe is a Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London. Her seminal interests lay in social psychology, particularly judgement, decision-making, and using experimental methods with a strong commitment to open, reproducible science and computational teaching. Alongside this, her research increasingly centres neurodivergence, informed by her lived experience with ADHD. She examines the experiences of neurodivergent students and academics, and collaborates with students on projects that place neurodivergent perspectives at the core. Current work focuses on improving workplace inclusion, such as understanding accommodation requests, flexibility, and burnout, and experimentally investigating biases neurodivergent people face in medical communication and decision-making, with the aim of informing more equitable practices
